In Arizona, situated along the Colorado River, Lees Ferry is a great drop point to fish the Colorado River for Rainbow and Brown Trout. Drop a small boat with a good motor and work up and down the river. Don’t pass up fly fishing from the banks. There are a couple of motels in the area and they each have a restaurant. Luxuries are not, but the fishing and scenery are remembered forever. Head the other way downstream to enjoy some awesome rapids and multi day trips down the canyon.
